“Floral Flavor”

I was inspired by an article in Romantic Homes to make this for the elementary class at my sons school for a Mother’s Day Gift. Rose Infused sugar. It was so easy and the kids loved getting there hands in it. They each got an air tight container, a large scoop of dried rose buds and a box of sugar. I had them sign a gift tag and I put a special Mother’s Day note along with a rose hip tea bag tied with some vintage seam binding. The kids had to pull the petals off the rose buds and then crush the petals. The next step was to add the sugar and wait one day for it to infuse. If there not tea drinkers it will look pretty sitting in the kitchen.

Happy Mother’s Day

“Checking In”

And so it goes…

I Haven’t posted since December, I can’t believe its been that long! So with that being said Im going to briefly catch up.

My family spent Christmastime in Disneyland and then went to The Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside, Ca for New years Eve. Back at home Im finally finishing up my creative space which is turning out beautiful! I also started looking around Vegas for a new place to put Tragic Queen Vintage. I found “Vintage Vegas” which Hangover 3 did some filming there for the next movie, so keep an eye out. It’s in the art district area and on Main Street. No more Goat Feathers as of March 30th. Just wasn’t for me.

So the last few weeks I’ve been working on plenty of home projects, my vintage space design, enchanted affaire and spring cleaning. Can I get anymore things to do? I did … I am now going to be Ravens T Balls team, team mom.

Happy Everything!
